Step 1.  Sign in to your Southwest account

It's easy to Southwest Flight Change. To get started, go to Southwest.com and click "Sign In" in the top right.

Enter your account number or username and case-sensitive password.

Step 2.  Manage your reservation

After logging in, click on the "Flight" tab and you will see a drop-down menu. From there you can click on "Manage Reservations" and you can click on the edit or cancel reservation screen.

Alternatively, if you are trying to change a flight, you can click "Change Flight" and skip the next step.

Step 3.  Select your self-service option

Then click on "Modify reservation" or "Cancel reservation".

Whichever you choose, you'll be prompted to enter your confirmation number, first name, and last name. Then click "Continue".

Step 4.  Complete the change or cancelation

From there, you can modify or cancel your flight.
